Jewel Quarter Horses is a small family owned farm in the scenic Red River Valley of eastern North Dakota.  We moved to our current location, a 100+ year old dairy farm, some 17 years ago to raise a family and invest our resources in AQHA/FQHA grullo stallion, Rawhides Slvr Bullet.  Bullet has been a part of our family since he was a yearling hand picked from the Krshka Ranch in Oklahoma. He has had a fantastic career, earning numerous awards:

Bullet has demonstrated not only talent as a reiner but also versatility, longevity, and a disposition second to none.   Now after a great career in the show pen, Bullet is beginning to establish himself as a sire.

Our broodmare band is made up of foundation cow bred mares and reining mares selected from ranches and breeding programs across the country.  We have also begun to breed select Rawhides Slvr Bullet daughters to well proven outside stallions.  We could not be more excited about the future!

Conformation, disposition, great minds, and talent are top priority--color and beauty are a welcome bonus!  Jewel Quarter Horses offers top quality offspring each year, and we will be standing Rawhides Slvr Bullet at Bryant Ranch in Jay, Oklahoma, for the 2015 breeding season.  We currently have an early booking promotion available: book your mare by January 1, 2015 and save $200 off of his $750 fee!  Great discounts for proven mares are also available.

All mares booked to Bullet for 2015 must have 5-panel test results prior to getting bred.  Bullet is already tested through AQHA, and his clean 5-panel test results are on file there.  5-panel tests for genetic diseases (PSSM1, HYPP, MH, GBED, and HERDA) are available through either AQHA/UCDavis or Animal Genetics.  We at Jewel Quarter Horses think it is important for all breeding stock to be tested to better ensure healthy foals.  We reserve the right to refuse breeding mares who test positive for the dominant disorder of PSSM1, HYPP, and MH.  Embryo testing is a possible alternative if you are choosing to breed a mare with a dominant disorder.

We are extremely proud of Bullet and the breeding program we are building around him.  His offspring have earned about $50,000 in earnings in multiple disciplines. The testimonials we receive from our clients affirm that we are onto something great here at Jewel Quarter Horses!
